Plaquemine - Bull Bash

Halloween in Plaquemine

The Plaquemine library is offering a little something for the kids for Halloween. Ages 9 and up is invited to join in for crafts and treats. It's not required but to register call the library at 687-2520. It's Saturday, October 24th 2009 and it starts at 11:00am and goes till 12:30pm.
Local businesses are also sponsoring the Iberville Parish Recreation District with the 10th annual "Boo on the Belleview". Join in for some tricks or treats on October 28th 2009. 5:30-7:00 at Belleview District Park, call 225-687-0641 for details.

Acadian Festival in Plaquemine, LA

The 41st International Acadian Festival is this weekend in Plaquemine. Get to the Mike Zito Multi purpose center Friday, Saturday and Sunday for parades, rides, music and of course, really good food. There is even a Texas Hold 'Em Tournament. See the festivals website for more detail on events. Plan to dance and enjoy a Bull Bash!
